Z900 2017-2019 graphics kits are designed specifically for the Kawasaki Z900 first generation (A2 chassis, model years 2017, 2018 and 2019). They are not compatible with Z900 models from 2020 onwards, which received a complete bodywork redesign. Check your model year before ordering.

Z900 2017-2019 Graphics Kits – First Generation Compatibility

Kawasaki Z900 first generation (2017-2019) uses a distinct bodywork that was fully redesigned for the 2020 model year. Side fairings, rear cowl panels and front fairing sections are specific to the 1st gen chassis – none of these body panels are interchangeable with the 2020+ generation. These graphics kits are cut precisely to fit phase A2 bodywork only.

2017, 2018 and 2019 model years – phase A2 (pre-2020 redesign)

The Z900 first generation runs a 948 cc inline four-cylinder engine producing 125 hp, weighing 210 kg wet with a 795 mm seat height. Visually, the 1st gen Z900 features more angular front fairing panels, straight-line side covers and a distinct rear cowl profile. The 2020 redesign introduced a TFT colour dashboard, restyled body panels and standard traction control – making pre-2020 and post-2020 graphics kits completely incompatible. Thickness, UV resistance and outdoor durability

All kits use polymer laminate vinyl ranging from 200 to 550 microns depending on the product tier. The protective laminate provides UV resistance and withstands repeated pressure washing. Outdoor durability: 5 to 7 years under standard exposure conditions. The vinyl is repositionable during installation, reducing the risk of alignment errors.

These kits fit the 2017, 2018 and 2019 model years only – first generation Z900 (phase A2 chassis). They do not fit Z900 models from 2020 onwards.

What is the difference between the 2017-2019 Z900 and the 2020+ Z900 ?
The 2020 model year brought a complete bodywork redesign (phase A3): new TFT dashboard, restyled body panels and standard traction control. The body panels are not interchangeable, and neither are the graphics kits.

Polymer laminate vinyl, 200 to 550 microns thick, UV-treated. Expected outdoor durability: 5 to 7 years under normal riding and washing conditions.

Can I install the kit myself or do I need a professional installer ?
Self-installation is straightforward. The vinyl is repositionable during fitting and each kit includes step-by-step installation instructions. A professional installation service is available on request.

Are the Z900 2017-2019 graphics kits compatible with the Z900 2020 onwards ?
