The T-MAX 530 2017-2019 is the 4th generation of Yamaha’s flagship maxi-scooter platform : a 530cc parallel twin 4-stroke liquid-cooled engine producing 46 hp / 34 kW at 6,750 rpm and 53 Nm of torque at 5,250 rpm. The 2017 redesign introduced a new lightweight aluminium frame, TFT dashboard, YCC-T electronic throttle, TCS traction control, and an electric parking brake. Three trims were available : standard, SX (sport, 17-inch wheels, revised suspension) and DX (premium, cruise control, electric windscreen, keyless ignition). This 2017-2019 bodywork, with its redesigned flanks and new front apron, is not compatible with the T-MAX 530 2012-2016 graphics kits (phase 1, different bodywork – not compatible) or the T-MAX 560 2022 graphics kits (different displacement, different bodywork – not compatible). All kits in this category are precision-cut for this phase 2 generation exclusively.
Each T-MAX 530 phase 2 graphics kit includes vinyl panels for the main fairings : front apron, side fairings, rear cowl and front fender. The material is a premium repositionable vinyl, resistant to UV exposure and weather. Installation is done with soft heat (a hair dryer or low-temperature heat gun) to shape the film around the T-MAX 530 bodywork contours, with no engine disassembly required. Thorough cleaning and degreasing of each body panel is mandatory before installation. All kits are cut in France on millimetre-precise templates designed specifically for the 2017-2019 bodywork.
