The engine is an inline-four 636cc DOHC liquid-cooled unit producing 130 hp at 13,500 rpm and 70.8 Nm of torque at 11,000 rpm. Kerb weight is 196 kg with a seat height of 830 mm. The KQS quickshifter is fitted as standard from 2019. Fitting requires clean, degreased panels, a squeegee, and a stable room temperature. The graphics are pre-cut for each panel of the 2019-2023 bodywork. Three key steps:

• Degrease all panels with isopropyl alcohol before application. Do not use acetone, which can damage the plastic.
• Apply at room temperature with a squeegee, working center outward to remove air bubbles.
• Use a hair dryer on relief areas to conform the 550-micron vinyl to the curved panels of the ZX-6R bodywork.
